Popular TV actress, Aishwarya Sakhuja garnered nationwide popularity for her portrayal of Toasty in 2010's show Saas Bina Sasural, which ran for two years. Talking about her experience through this show, she told E Times, “I owe a lot in my life to the character Toasty and the makers were planning a second season soon after the first season got over. The entire cast was waiting for the second season to start but that never happened. Now after almost eight years, the second season will be back with a fresh new cast. The second season of the show titled Saas Bina Sasural 2 was recently announced with Anjali Tartari in lead as the Aishwarya rejected the offer. Citing the reason, the gorgeous lady said, “I was hoping to be part of the second season when the first season got over. It was an abrupt ending. So, at that time I was keen to act in the second season. Now, a lot of time has passed and it would be unprofessional for me to be a part of the second season when I had already said yes to another TV show Yeh Hai Chahatein. Also, earlier the makers had wanted the entire cast to come together in the second season; the first season worked because of the chemistry of the entire cast. She added, "I have realized over the years that after playing positive leads in many TV shows, it is important to branch out and do something different. I am enjoying playing a negative role in 'YHC' and not disappointed about 'Saas Bina Sasural 2'.
