Heroin seized at CCpur

CCpur, January 13 2021:
The 2nd Assam Rifles Check Post, Bualkot Churachandpur on January 11 seized 22 boxes of suspected heroin and 24 other boxes of Energy drink-Horn from a passenger bus.
As per sources, one passenger identified as Khupzalam (62) s/o (L) Pauzasuari of Gouchinkhup Veng, Churachandpur had got down from the bus before the checking and had driven away on a bike.
He was later arrested in Churachandpur in connection with the case.
The seized suspected heroin was found to be 330 gms in weight.
Later, a case has been registered, for further investigation at Singngat Police Station.
