NAB PS team arrest two

Imphal, January 13 2021:
A team of NAB PS arrested two individuals who were smuggling heroin powder (No 4) on a TATA truck today near Samurou Oil Pump along Mayai Lambi road.
The individuals namely Md Zaher Ali and Md Ali Amzad (26), both from Phundrei Awang Leikai in Thoubal district were arrested with 442 grams of heroin powder in their possession.
The powder was found concealed in 34 soap caps.
The truck and items recovered have been seized and a case has been registered at NAB PS in this regard, informed a source.
