
Samsung Unpacked Event LIVE UPDATES: Samsung Galaxy S21 series is now official. The Galaxy S21 and S21+ phones have a triple camera. The Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with four cameras at the back and S Pen support as well. Samsung has introduced two variants of the S Pen this time: a regular and a Pro version. The South Korean giant has also launched its Galaxy Buds Pro TWS wireless earbuds and Galaxy SmartTag Bluetooth tracker at today’s event.
The Galaxy S21 series will be open for pre-booking in India from January 15, which is tomorrow. Consumers can pre-book all three variants – Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 in India. Prices start at Rs 69,999 for the S21 phone, going up to Rs 1,16,999 for the most expensive S21 Ultra version, which has 16GB RAM. Pre-booked consumers will get a free Galaxy Smart Tag and a Samsung E-Shop voucher worth Rs 10,000.
This time, the Galaxy S21 comes in four colours, while S21+ comes in three colours. The Galaxy S21 Ultra gets a new Phantom Black colour and a Silver colour. The S21 has a 6.2-inch display, while the S21+ has a 6.7-inch display. The Galaxy S21 Ultra has a 6.8-inch display.
All phones have an adaptive display. The Galaxy S21 series introduces a new ‘Contour Cut Camera’ which has complete metal frame. There’s also a new Phantom Violet colour for the S21 and S21+. Each device has a haze finish on the back as well.
Consumers in India will be among the first to get the new Samsung devices. Customers who prebook from Janaury 15 will start getting the deliveries on January 25, while Galaxy S21 Series goes on sale in India on January 29.
Consumers can pre-book the Samsung Galaxy S21 Series starting January 15 across Samsung's Exclusive Stores and retail stores and on Samsung.com and leading online portals. All pre-booked consumers will get Galaxy Smart Tag free and Samsung E-Shop voucher worth Rs 10,000 as free.
As a special offer, they can get Galaxy Watch Active 2 or a combo of Galaxy Buds+ and Travel Adapter with a device of their choice. Consumers can also avail HDFC Bank cashback of up to Rs 10,000 or have an option to avail an upgrade bonus worth Rs 5000.
Pre-booked consumers will start getting deliveries on January 25. The Galaxy S21 Series goes on sale in India on January 29

Google's SVP Hiroshi Lockheimer on stage. He's talking about how the Galaxy S21 series will support Google Discover content with a single swipe from the homescreen. The Galaxy S21 series will also come with support for Google's RCS messaging. The phones will run Android 11. The Galaxy S21 will also be an Android enterprise recommended device as well.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 series boxes will only feature a USB Type-C cable and drop the charger. Users will, however, be able to purchase chargers separately. Samsung states ecological reasons over the move, and will not ship chargers to reduce e-waste.

Apart from the new S-Pen, Samsung also launched the S-Pen Pro. The S-Pen Pro will be available later in 2021.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with the 108MP camera. There's an Extreme Ultra Low Light mode as well to ensure the best quality images, even when the human eye might not be able to see well. The phone has Space Zoom, which goes up to 100X Zoom. Samsung says the phone has the company's first-ever Dual-tele lens system. One is an optical 3x lens and one is an optical 10x lens; both are equipped Dual Pixel(2PD) Auto Focus technology for clear shots and to ensure 100X zoom.
The camera also ensures Ultra Macro feature for extreme closeups up to 5 cms.

Samsung Galaxy S21 series will allow live camera previews from all the phone's lenses in real-time. This will allow users to see how footage will look before they switch lenses mid-video.
Samsung says the Galaxy S21's Knox Vault, which is its own proprietary chipset level (SoC) security platform will ensure privacy for users.
