TATA MOTORS at 52 Week High; BSE 500 Index Up 0.1%

TATA MOTORS share price has hit a 52-week high at Rs 250 (up 2.2%).

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 19,172 (up 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are TATA MOTORS (up 2.2%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 10.6%).

SAIL (down 8.2%) and SUZLON ENERGY (down 5.0%) are among the top losers today.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,577 (up 0.1%). UPL (up 3.9%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 3.5%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

TATA MOTORS Financial Update...

TATA MOTORS net profit down at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended September 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 20 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 25.3% to Rs 535.3 billion during the period as against Rs 716.8 billion in July-September 2019.

For the year ended March 2020, TATA MOTORS reported 100.0% decrease in net profit to Rs 0.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 7.2 billion during FY19.

Revenue of the company grew 13.6% to Rs 2,586 billion during FY20.

The current Price to earnings ratio of TATA MOTORS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 4.7x.
