Samsung Galaxy S21 series: Expected specs
As for the specs, there's a lot we already know about the upcoming devices from Samsung. Over the last few weeks, we've seen a number of leaks that have revealed pretty much all there is to know about the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and the Galaxy S21 Ultra. From what the latest leaks suggest, all three could turn out to be rather unremarkable devices with bulky designs.
Multiple leaks over the past few days, with the latest ones coming courtesy of popular tipster, Evan Blass, have revealed the same things about the three phones, with the Galaxy S21 series phones shown to be made available in multiple colours. Of the three phones, the Galaxy S21 is tipped to be the smallest according to leaks and could get a 6.2-inch full-HD+ Infinity-O Display with a pixel density of 421ppi.
The Galaxy S21+ is said to be bigger and is tipped to come with a 6.7-inch size panel working at a lower pixel density of 394ppi. The Galaxy S21 Ultra will be bigger than the other two and will bring with itself a 6.8-inch panel Infinity-O display with a 515ppi pixel density.
Under the hood, the three phones are tipped to hide the Exynos 2100 SoC chipset in the global variants while the US variants are said to get the Snapdragon 888. For cameras, the Galaxy S21 and S21+ are tipped to share the hardware, with the two devices rumoured to house a triple rear camera setup with a primary 64-megapixel sensor sat next to a secondary 12-megapixel lens and a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens.
In comparison, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will get just one extra camera with the rear set-up set to include a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel secondary lens, and two other 10-megapixel lenses. The Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ both are expected to have a 10-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front, while the Galaxy S21 Ultra may come with a 40-megapixel selfie camera.
