Bhoomi Movie Review

Bhoomi, the Jayam Ravi starring social drama has premiered in Disney+Hotstar today, as a Pongal special release. The Jayam Ravi starrer, which is directed by Lakshman, features Nidhhi Agerwal as the female lead, and popular Bollywood actor Ronit Roy as the lead antagonist. Bhoomi is produced by Sujatha Vijayakumar, under the banner Home Movie Makers.

The social drama, which marks Jayam Ravi's third collaboration with director Lakshman, features the actor in the role of Bhoominathan, an astronaut who returns to his village in Tamil Nadu, to fulfill a mission. Bhoomi majorly focuses on the issues faced by the farmers of rural India, and how the corporate companies hamper their well-being.

Ronit Roy, the senior Bollywood actor is appearing in the role of a corporate company owner who creates hurdles for Bhoominathan and his villagers, in Bhoomi. Nidhhi Agerwal, the leading lady, appears as Bhoominathan's love interest, Swathi. Bhoomi features some of the most popular acting talents of Tamil cinema, including Sathish, Radha Ravi, Thambi Ramaiah, Saranya Ponvannan, John Vijay, G Marimuthu, and so on in the pivotal roles.
