VOLTAS share price has hit a 52-week high at Rs 924 (up 2.7%).

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 19,167 (down 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are VOLTAS (up 2.7%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 7.7%).

SAIL (down 8.5%) and SUZLON ENERGY (down 5.0%) are among the top losers today.

VOLTAS Financial Update...

VOLTAS net profit down at Rs 867 million for the quarter ended September 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 6.4% to Rs 15.9 billion during the period as against Rs 14.9 billion in July-September 2019.

For the year ended March 2020, VOLTAS reported 11.0% increase in net profit to Rs 6.4 billion compared to net profit of Rs 5.8 billion during FY19.

Revenue of the company grew 7.5% to Rs 77 billion during FY20.

The current Price to earnings ratio of VOLTAS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 65.4x.
