German govt passes draft law on consumer rights for use of digital products

The German government has passed a draft law for the protection of consumers using digital products such as software, applications and streaming services. The new rules apply to contracts signed between companies and consumers. The new rules aim to translate into national law Directive (EU) 2019/770 of the European Parliament and of the Council on certain aspects concerning contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services.
