Ubisoft has delayed its extreme sports title Riders Republic until "later this year," the game's official Twitter account announced.
"Today, we want to let you know that we have made the decision to move our release to later this year," the statement on Riders Republic's official Twitter reads. "This additional time will allow our passionate team to deliver the best fun fueled experience to our players." A new release date has been announced as of yet .
Riders Republic was revealed during the September 2020 Ubisoft Forward livestream and originally slated to drop on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on February 25. The game is an extreme sports title with activities like snowboarding, mountain biking, and wingsuiting. It's reminiscent of Ubisoft's other extreme sports game Steep, but sprinkled with some MMO-like flavoring to include 50-player matches.
