Bolivia space agency to boost sat-based internet with 600 antennas

Bolivia's space agency ABE has confirmed plans to boost the provision of satellite-based internet in rural areas via the installation of a further 600 antennas, reports local portal ATB Digital, citing ABE director Ivan Zambrana. The service will use capacity offered via the Tupac Katari satellite and will be up and running "within 10 days", said Zambrana, who took up his post again last month following the interim government of Jeanine Anez.
