Another report from Nashik said that a batch of 43,440 doses of 'CoviShield' vaccine arrived at Nashik from Pune's Serum Institute for the vaccination drive in the district, which will start from Jan 16, informed district collector Suraj Mandhare today.
The vaccination drive will be held at 16 centres in the district.
In the first round of vaccination in the district, total 18,135 health workers from government and 12,480 private institutions have been given priority for vaccination and so far 1,029 vaccinators have been trained in the district.
Also, 210 freezers are available in the district for storage of vaccines under the Covid-19 vaccination campaign, added Mr Mandhare.
