AR promotes Skill Development with Humanism Foundation

Imphal, January 12 2021: Troops of Assam Rifles organised a felicitation ceremony in coordination with Humanism foundation at Kumbi college of Bishnupur district, Manipur on 11 January .

The Skill Development Centre at Kumbi College was initiated with an aim to train the local youths hailing from the remote areas of Bishnupur in Computer and Tailoring Courses and also to make them self sufficient in earning a quality livelihood in present environment.

The Felicitation ceremony was conducted under the Pradhan MantriKaushal Vikas Yojna (PMKVY), wherein a total of 120 students of Kumbi College have been awarded certificates in Computer and Tailoring classes, after their successful completion of respective courses.

The youths, college staff and the local populace present at the event expressed profound gratitude to the team of Assam Rifles and Humanism Foundation for the smooth functioning and conduct of the courses under PMKVY.
