Mountain Dew will reportedly release a new soda to tie in with Matt Reeves' The Batman. More specifically, the flavor is themed after one of The Caped Crusader's most notorious villains, The Riddler.
Best Products reports (via Batman News) PepsiCo will release "Riddler's Brew," a new limited-edition Mountain Dew flavor, to celebrate the release of The Batman in 2022. The soda is a dark blue color, which is similar to Mountain Dew Dark Berry, a flavor released in 2012 to tie in with The Dark Knight Rises.
Last year at DC FanDome, director Matt Reeves pulled the curtain back on the first trailer for the new Batman reboot, which provided looks at the new Batman costume, the Batmobile, and more of the film's cast. The Batman was originally scheduled to launch this year, but the film was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. One delay in production came after star Robert Pattinson reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.
