CHENNAI: Tasmac liquor shops and bars would remain closed in Chennai on January 15, 26 and 28, district collector R Seethalakshmi said.
In statement, the collector said all Tasmac IMFL retail vending shops and attached bars, FL2 bars in clubs and FL3 bars shall remain closed on January 15, 26 and 28 on account of Thiruvalluvar Day, Republic Day and Vallalar Ninaivu Naal, respectively.
Noting that there shall be no sale of liquor on the three days, the statement said action would be taken if any violation was noticed.
