Museum on legendary poet Fakir Mohan Senapati

Bhubaneswar, Jan 13 (UNI) A state of the art museum will be set up in the F M University campus to recognize and spread the outstanding contributions of Fakir Mohan Senapati, one of the greatest poets, son of the soil and legendary figure of Odisha.
F M University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dinabandhu Sahoo announced while addressing the students on the occasion of 179th Birth Anniversary of Odisha’s legendary figure Vyasa Kabi Fakir Mohan Senapati at the university campus at Balasore today.
The Vice-Chancellor said the contributions of the poet should be depicted in Odia, English and Hindi to help people know about him beyond the boundaries of Odisha.
He said a life-size statue will be constructed in the University campus to attract more visitors and popularize the legendary figure nationally and globally.
The preferable location of the statute would be at Remuna campus of the University, which is located at the National Highway.
