KSO Moltam sports kicked off

Kangpokpi, January 12 2021: Saitu Assembly Constituency MLA, Ngamthang Haokip, who is also the Advisor to Chief Minister kicked off the third Kuki Students' Organization Moltam Block Annual Sports Meet 2021 at Ichum Keirap Kom village playground yesterday.

The sports meet is being conducted by KSO Moltam Block in collaboration with Tingkai Area Youth Union (TAYU).

Ngamthang Haokip graced the opening ceremony as the chief guest while SD Dinglar, Ex-MDC and Sanjeep Yengkhom attended as guests of honour.

Paosei Kipgen, president, Kuki Inpi Moltam Lhang attended the same as functional president and Rekhupsong Kom, chief of Ichum Keirap Kom was the chief host.

The KSO annual Sports meet is an inter-village youth club level sports participated by more than 35 clubs.

The sports event includes men's football, women's and men's volleyball and other indigenous games.

The organizing committee will host a musical night on January 15 with an aim to spread a message of peace and harmony to the villagers within Moltam area while the Sports meet will culminate on January 16 .
