Dow Jones flat as stimulus rally cools

Wall Street's main indexes opened flat on Wednesday, as investors digested a recent rally to record highs on bets of a snap-back in economic activity fueled by more fiscal stimulus and vaccine rollouts.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 32.2 points, or 0.11%, at the open to 31,101.67. The S&P 500 rose 1.58 points, or 0.04%, at the open to 3,802.77, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.02 points, or 0.01%, to 13,072.46 at the opening bell.
