Vivo Y31s with Snapdragon 480 processor launched

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Vivo has expanded its Y series of smartphones with the launch of Vivo Y31s in China. The smartphone is powered by the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor. The smartphone sports a dual rear camera and offers 5G support.
The Vivo Y31s comes with a starting price tag of 1,498 yuan (Rs 17,000) and it can be purchased in Grey, Red and Silver colour options. Vivo will start selling the smartphone in China from January 15. The company has not yet announced any details about the global launch of the smartphone.
Vivo Y31s specifications
The Vivo Y31s comes with a 6.58-inch full HD+ display with 1080x2408 pixel resolution. The display comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and offers a 90.61 screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is powered by the recently launched octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor paired with Adreno 619 GPU.
The Vivo Y31s packs 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Users can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card. The device runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own FunTouch OS.
The smartphone sports a dual rear camera which consist of 13MP main sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The Vivo Y31s comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
Recently, Vivo launched the Y51A smartphone in India at Rs 17,990. The handset comes powered by a 5000mAh battery and is equipped with an 18watt fast charge technology.
