MP CM’s focus on girls’ safety

Bhopal, Jan 11 (UNI) Missing girls – a heart-rending social nightmare being ceaselessly combatted by law enforcement – comprised the subject of a high-level Mantralaya meeting chaired by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday.
“I felicitate police officers and men for the sharp decline in crimes against women over the past eight months. Put in place a system for maintaining a complete record of any daughter exiting a district for employment, etc,” the senior politician was officially quoted as saying.

At present, the Umang app and 1090 helpline are operational. The central helpline number is 1098.

MP witnesses lessening of crime rate

Bhopal, Jan 11 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday expressed satisfaction over the fact that offence graphs declined by 15 to 50 per cent over the past eight months.
“A comprehensive review has been conducted in connection with missing girls – a matter of hellish agony for any loving sire! A document containing detailed description of the investigation underway will be handed over to the family concerned. The victim’s relatives shall have fortnightly meetings with the station in-charge,” the veteran leader was officially quoted as averring while launching the 15-day state-level Samman campaign at Minto Hall here.

Bhopal, Jan 11 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday released the calendar of the newspaper Dainik Yug Pradesh at his residence.
Members of the editorial board were present on the occasion, an official release said.

MP CM continues ‘chai pe charcha’ with ministers

Bhopal, Jan 11 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan discussed the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department’s activities with the Minister concerned – Mr Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon – at CM House on Monday, official sources said.
The interaction touched on accelerating the clearance process in order to ramp up endeavours vis-à-vis investment growth, development of the Atal Progress-way and the Narmada Expressway in Chambal region apart from the North-South and East-West corridors, conducting research for establishment of industries and action in that direction, having a study tour to adopt the model of other states, working on Ease of Doing Business, export promotion, formulation of a policy to make Madhya Pradesh an air cargo hub, development of food-processing units and increasing efforts to make such products available in the global market.

MP CM bows to Shastri

Bhopal, Jan 11 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid floral tributes on Monday, at his residence, to the nation’s second premier Lal Bahadur Shastri – a visionary leader who remains a shining example to citizens owing to his sheer simplicity, unalloyed honesty and the fact that – during his illustrious tenure – the Indian Armed Forces emerged triumphant in the 1965 War against Pakistan.
On Mr Shastri’s death anniversary, Mr Chouhan recalled the former’s contribution to Bharat Mata; it was officially learnt.

BJP gets support of Independent at Sujanpur, to take control over Parishad
