The dispute between Opposition AIUDF and Congress started appearing in Assam

Just before the Assam assembly elections, there is a split in the opposition parties of the state. Recently, Congress and AIUDF, which contested the Bodo Counseling elections, have started increasing distances. Congress leaders believe that it will increase the chances of polarization in the state by contesting elections with All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) headed by Badruddin Ajmal.

Therefore, the Congress is that in the last assembly elections, BJP got 41.9 percent of the votes, while the Congress got 44 percent. The opposition had fought separately so the BJP had a clear majority.

Split in Congress too

After the death of former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, there is a difference of opinion among senior leaders of the state Congress. Most of the leaders are angry with state president Ripun Bora, Gaurav Gogoi, and Sushmita Dev are not yet mature.
