Vivo Y12s with 5000 mAh battery launched at Rs 9,990
NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Vivo has launched its latest Y series smartphone in India. The company has launched Vivo Y12s with 5000mAh battery. The smartphone comes with an HD+ display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor.

Price and availability
The company has priced the Vivo Y12s at Rs 9,990 and it can be purchased in two colour options — Phantom Black and Glacier Blue. Customers can purchase the handset from Amazon, Flipkart, Vivo India e-store, Paytm, TataCliq and retail stores in the country. At this price point, the smartphone will compete against the recently launched Samsung Galaxy M102s smartphone which retails at a starting price tag of Rs 8,999.

Vivo Y12s specifications
The Vivo Y12s comes with a 6.51-inch FullView HD+ display with 720x1600 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octavos-core MediaTek P35 processor paired with 3GB of RAM.


The smartphone comes with 32GB internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card. The Vivo Y12s comes with dual SIM functionality and runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own FunTouch OS 11.


The Vivo Y12s comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support.


The smartphone features a dual rear camera with 13MP main sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to an 8MP selfie shooter.


Recently, Vivo launched the Y51A smartphone in India at Rs 17,990. The handset comes powered by a 5000mAh battery and is equipped with an 18watt fast charge technology.
