Deutsche Telekom expands mobile network along high-speed train routes but hurdles remain

Deutsche Telekom said it has expanded its mobile network on Intercity Express (ICE) rail routes in the past year, building a mast along the high-speed train lines every two-and-a-half days. However, dead spots along the route remain. For example, on the railway line between Berlin and Hamburg there are small dead spots and in Aumuehle in Sachsenwald, a larger one of 550 meters.
