
Wall Street's main indexes opened lower on Tuesday as investors looked to the earnings season this week for clues on the health of Corporate America and the economy, while awaiting details on the next package of official economic stimulus.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 57.3 points, or 0.18%, at the open to 30,951.49. The S&P 500 rose 0.42 points, or 0.01%, at the open to 3,800.03, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 56.6 points, or 0.43%, to 13,092.70 at the opening bell.
