ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme’s mission is to enable brands and retailers in the textile, apparel, and footwear industries to implement sustainable chemical management best practice across the value chain. Through collaborative engagement, standard setting, and implementation, the industry will advance towards zero discharge of hazardous chemicals.
ZDHC MRSL supports good chemical management by helping to avoid the use of hazardous substances during production and manufacturing. This solution facilitates the creation of end products that meet the requirements for cleaner outputs.
In addition to Eurofins | BLC in the UK, which has already been approved for Level 1, 2 and 3 in 2017, the new ZDHC MRSL V2.0 Level 1, 2 and 3 conformance approval has been given to Eurofins Softlines & Leather laboratories, located in key textiles, garment and leather manufacturing countries like Gurgaon, India; Como, Italy; Alicante, Spain; and Istanbul, Turkey, accoridng to a press release by Eurofins.
The new capability greatly complements the current ZDHC MRSL V2.0 Level 1 to Level 3 Conformance by Eurofins | Chem-MAP in the UK, the signature product by Eurofins | BLC that is one of the two technical competence centres of Eurofins Softlines & Leather. This expansion in geographical coverage will augment our certification services, driving the industry towards a safer, cleaner and greener supply chain.
