BENGALURU: A gang of four allegedly abused and assaulted a 24-year-old man for reportedly not being able to repair a mobile phone belonging to one of them, on Friday evening at Kumaraswamy Layout.
Yasin Khan, who owns Hayath Mobile Sales and Service Centre at JHBCS Layout, filed a complaint against the gang members on Saturday.
Khan had opened a mobile service centre eight months ago. On Friday, his mother attended two calls from an unknown person, who wanted two phones repaired. Within 10 minutes, four miscreants came to his shop and gave him a cellphone for repair. Khan found that the device was in an irreparable state and informed the same to the customer. But, the miscreants abused and assaulted him with a cricket bat.
KS Layout police have taken up a case.
