A video of scores of people from a village community in Nagaland pulling a truck out of a gorge using ropes is doing rounds on the internet.

The viral video shows dozens of people dragging the truck out of a deep gorge with the help of ropes attached to the vehicle.

The truck, carrying ginger, fell into a gorge somewhere in Nagaland. The driver of the gorge escaped with minor injuries.

According to a report, locals decided to pull the truck out since no machinery was available to drag the vehicle out.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Mmhonlumo Kikon also tweeted the video.

He said, "In a village in Nagaland (not yet identified) the entire community pulls up a truck which fell off the road with ropes and the spirit of unity!"
