Nagaland reported nine fresh cases of COVID-19 today, taking the total caseload to 11,987. Health and Family Welfare Minister S. Pangnyu Phom said seven cases were detected from Kohima and two from Dimapur.
He also informed that 16 positive patients recovered, which include five each from Kohima and Mokokchung, and three each from Dimapur and Peren.
With this, the total recovered cases in the state stands at 11,655, while the active COVID-19 cases are at 107. Of the total 85 deaths registered in the state, 74 persons died due to the infection, while 10 deaths are not related to COVID and one death is under investigation. So far, 140 cases have migrated.
