AR organises community service, COVID awareness drive

Senapati, January 10 2021: Troops of Assam Rifles organised a community service and awareness drive on COVID-19 at Phaimol village in Senapati district, today.

The event commenced with community service followed by an interaction with the locals at Phaimol Baptist Church, said a statement of PRO IGAR(S).

As part of the event, locals were educated on various "Dos and Don'ts" to safeguard against the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic.

Aspects of wearing masks, social distancing and personal hygiene were also highlighted during the event.

An informative lecture and demonstration on various precautionary measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 was also organised, it added.

Face masks, sanitizers and pamphlets were also distributed to the villagers.
