GURUGRAM: As the city gears up for the first Covid-19 vaccination drive, the health department has identified six session sites (inoculations will be done) where a live telecast of PM Narendra Modi’s
launch event will be aired. Officials said, Haryana will be receiving six lakh
vaccine doses in the first batch — of which
Gurugram will get 40,000 doses by next week.
Of the six sites, the one in Wazirabad will have two-way interactive communication with the Prime Minister. The other sites — Bhangrola, Daultabad, Medanta-The medicity, Chauma and SGT medical college — will have webcasts of the national Covid-19 vaccine rollout.
The launch is planned at 5,000 session sites across the country. Out of them, Haryana has 109 sites, including two that will be part of the two-way interaction mode. For this purpose, the site should have a 4Mbps internet connection.
