Team India showed grit and determination when they went with an intent to not lose the third Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). The sixth-wicket partnership between Ravichandran Ashwin joined injured Hanuma Vihari was not about runs but was to save the game for the Men in Blue.
The two played out 44 overs in a fight to save the game. Vihari and Ashwin negated everything thrown at them as they lasted for 258 balls before the two sides decided to shake hands for a draw.
India made sure to not give Australia the happiness of a win as they managed to draw keep the series levelled at 1-1. Fans too enjoyed the Pink Test which for a change went on to the fifth day and lasted almost till the end.

Really loved the way @Hanumavihari batted today. Saved the test even after getting injured. Didn't expose injured Jadeja & the tail.#SydneyTest

For India, the number of players missing/injured will keep them on their toes. From being fit to face Aussie bowlers to fit until the end, all will be known in a couple of days as India will travel to Brisbane for the Gabba Test.
