Gurugram Police announce Rs 5 lakh reward for culprits in murder case

Gurugram, Jan 11 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Gurugram Police on Monday declared a reward of Rs 5 lakh for unidentified suspects in the murder of a property dealer.

"We have declared a reward of Rs 5 lakh for anyone who will provide information to Gurugram Police about the criminals. The family of the deceased had also visited the police commissioner's office on Monday in connection with the matter. We assured them that the accused will be arrested soon" said Preet Pal Sangwan, ACP (crime).

 

The officer said the investigation teams have received some clues about the criminals but they are yet to identify the culprits.

The family of the victim Ravinder Kumar also denied any monetary dispute or any personal enmity behind the killing, the police said.

40-year-old property dealer Ravinder Kumar's bullet-ridden body was found in his car after he was shot by unidentified assailants on December 24 near Gadoli village in Gurugram, the police said.

At the time of the incident, the victim, a native of Manesar, was returning home from his office located in the Kherki Daula area.

A police probe suggested that the accused waylaid Kumar near Gadoli village and fired a single shot into his neck, killing the victim on the spot.

Following a complaint filed by the deceased's kin, the police had registered a murder case against an unidentified persons at the sector-10A police station and had started a probe.
