Shooting of
Babushaan Mohanty and
Sivani Sangita starrer
Odia film Bidyaran to resume soon. The production of the film was halted due to the
Covid-19 induced
lockdown in March last year. Though shooting of films and television serials have been going on for last several months, the shoot for this movie had not started.
As per the team members of the film, since there was no clarity about the reopening of theatres in the state till January, the makers were waiting for it. Since the state government gave permission for cinema halls to operate, the makers have geared up. “We have a lot of hope from Bidyaran. It’s a film that has been made for theatres and reopening of cinema halls bring a lot of happiness for us,” said Sivani.
Babushaan also was all praise for the move and expressed his happiness while talking to the press in the poster unveiling event held inside a single screen premise recently. “We are now focusing on our movie and will target for the
Raja festival in June. By that time, the condition would have gone better,” he said.
The film is directed by
Jyote Das. The film’s cast and crew were present at the event where Babushaan and Sivani interacted with few movie-goers who had come to watch films on the first day of the reopening of theatres.
