Letter: Passion should not become rage

Most things that happen nowadays are absolute chaos, even more so when related to politics. Many people forget their basic human instincts of empathy and kindness when talking to others about politics.
When the U.S. Capitol was intruded and desecrated the other day by a crazy mob of MAGA supporters, it truly demonstrated what politicians can do to people.
It’s OK to be passionate about political candidates, but when your passion evolves into rage and unrest, it’s usually not a good thing.

The angry mob that attacked the Capitol building violated such an important place to the American political and lawmaking processes, and it’s sad to see. As a young person it is shameful to see the older generation do this.
