COVID-19 pandemic induced lockdown left thousands jobless. Odisha engineer Shanti Swarup Mishra was one of them. Swarup was working in Bengaluru but after losing her job he shifted to Odisha. Not becoming a victim of the consequences, he turned into a horticulturist. Mishra started his own seed processing unit and nursery. Started with 4 coconut plants, Swarup has so far planted 2.5 lakh trees. Shanti Swarup Mishra now encourages youth to venture into business rather than jobs.
