The UK salon visited by Priyanka Chopra during lockdown has been fined by the area's metropolitan police. India Today earlier reported than an official at the police station that levied the fine was quoted as saying, “Officers were informed that the salon was being used in support of a film production and was not open to the public - paperwork was provided demonstrating this. As part of the Four E’s process, officers engaged and explained the rules and offered strong words of advice to all those present including that the work needed to take place on set rather than in the salon. “The salon was closed immediately. No fines were issued at the time however, following a review of the circumstances and relevant legislation, officers have subsequently issued a fine to the salon owner,” added the official. As per the BBC, the UK cops are now using a 4-part process called the four Es, which translate to 'Engage, Explain, Encourage and Enforce', in order to better implement COVID-19 safety measures after it was found out that a new strain of the deadly virus emanated from the country. Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra herself has denied flouting any ruled pertaining to the coronavirus pandemic guidelines. A spokesperson of the actress has issued a statement on her behalf that dead: “Following government guidance, Priyanka’s hair was coloured for the purpose of the film she is currently shooting in London.
