AR organises Run for Fit India'

Imphal, January 09 2021: Assam Rifles organised 'Run for Fit India' and Football tournament yesterday at Beru Anthi village, Chandel district.

Around 40 youths and children from the village including boys and girls participated in the run and enjoyed the Football tournament which was also motivated by the elders of the village, said a statement issued by PRO Assam Rifles.

The main aim of the event was promotion of 'Fit India Campaign' launched by the Government of India, to motivate the villagers in maintaining fitness by exercising atleast 30 minutes per day and actively participating in games, added the statement.
