279 new Covid-19 cases and 6 deaths reported in Haryana

CHANDIGARH: Haryana continued to have a downward trend of Covid-19 cases as the state on Saturday reported 279 new cases and 6 deaths. After a long gap recoveries remained less than the new cases at 211.
Low recoveries led to slight dip in recovery rate which has come down to 97.92%. Else Haryana’s overall tally has gone to 264721 cases with 259209 recoveries, 2949 deaths and 2563 active cases. Out of the total active cases, 121 patients are critical and are undergoing treatment at Covid care centres across the state
Though as many as 28170 samples were taken but Covid-19 positive rate further came down to 5.55 percent while the doubling rate saw a further increase to 98 (days) and the fatality rate remains constant 1.11 percent.
Gurugram, Panipat, Kurukshetra, Yamunagar, Sirsa and Jhajjar have reported one death each.
Gurugram reported 88 new cases while Faridabad reported second highest 37 cases during the day.
Gurugram, now, has 57429 cases with 346 deaths and 772 active cases while Faridabad has 45778 cases with 408 deaths and 171 active cases.
Rohtak and Panchkula have reported 23 cases each, Ambala reported 15 cases, Kurukshtera and Panipat reported 12 cases and Yamunagar, Karnal , Sonipat and Jind reported 11 cases each.
Among the districts reported less than 10 cases included Hisar, Rewari, Sirsa, Mahindergarh, Bhiwani Jhajjar, Palwal, Fatehabad, Kaithal, Nuh and Charkhi Dadri districts.
