Four drug peddlers arrested in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 9 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday said four drug peddlers were arrested and chara and poppy straw recovered in south Kashmir.

The police spokesperson said two drug peddlers were arrested and poppy straw in Pampore in south Kashmir district of Pulwama was recovered.

He said in another raid, police arrested two more drug peddlers and recovered 1.5 kg of Charas like substance and cash Rs 7750 also. Vehicle used in commissioning of crime was also seized in Kulgam.

A case stands registered at Police Station Damhal Hanjipora and further investigation taken up, he said.
