The BJP will wait before the start of 'Operation Lotus' afresh in Rajasthan. The party wants to shock the Congress by performing well in the by-elections in the three assembly seats along with the body elections. Party President JP Nadda met with senior state leaders on Friday to weave a plan for future strategy.
There was a long discussion on the current political situation in the state in a meeting with State President Satish Poonia, Leader of Opposition Gulab Chand Kataria, and Deputy Leader in the Assembly Rajendra Rathore. In this, a strategy for better performance in the elections for 90 bodies of 20 districts of the state was formulated on January 28. Apart from this, there was talk on the by-elections in three assembly seats in March.
Nadda entrusted the state unit with the responsibility of winning all the three assembly seats. In this, Congress has two seats, one BJP. Party strategists believe that if the BJP performs well in the by-elections and body elections, an atmosphere will be created in its favor. Especially in the assembly elections, if the Congress fails to save its seat, then a fresh atmosphere will be created in the party against Ashok Gehlot.
Question on Vasundhara's absence
The former chief minister and national vice president Vasundhara Raje was not invited to the meeting. There are many types of discussions with this. Earlier, questions were raised on Vasundhara for the BJP's campaign to replace Gehlot and not form a government. It is a matter of discussion that through this meeting the party leadership decided to move away from Vasundhara and formulate a future strategy. Ghanshyam Tiwari returned to BJP despite Vasundhara's opposition in the past.
Organization meeting
It was a meeting about the organization. It discussed the latest political situation in the state, party president Nadda's state visit in February, body elections, and assembly by-elections. There was talk of doing better in these elections. Vasundhara is the national vice president.
