Finland's new telecoms act enters force to facilitate 5G base station set-up, raise minimum broadband speed

The Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communication said that the Act on Electronic Communications Services entered force on 01 January 2021. It aims to improve consumer protection, promote investments in communications networks and access to communications services, and improve network security, among other things.
