Actor Salman Khan, who is still having to walk around the court on charges of hunting the rare black deer, stray dogs killed four similar deer in Pune zoo.
Officials said four deer died in an attack by some dogs at the Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park in Pune, while another was injured.
Zoo director Rajkumar Jadhav said the incident occurred on Wednesday morning. It is noteworthy that under Schedule I of the Wildlife Conservation Act, a blackbuck is a protected animal. Whose killing or hunting is banned. They told that some dogs sneaked into the zoo and went into the black deer enclosure.
Actually, the blackbuck is a demure and timid animal. On seeing the dogs in their enclosure, two male and two female deer died on the spot in panic. After the death of these four deer, there are now only 30 black deer left in the zoo.
