BSF anti-human trafficking unit  rescues minor girl from Karimganj in Assam

New Delhi, Jan 8 (UNI) The Border Security Force (BSF)’s anti-human trafficking unit on a tip off, rescued a minor girl named Maya Sharma from a village under Bazarichera police station in Karimganj district of Assam on January 5.

According the BSF officials, the girl was forcibly taken from Dimapur in Nagaland and kept at the village and the anti- human trafficking unit in coordination with Bazarichera police raided the house and rescued her. The man who took her forcibly managed to flee the scene.

The BSF team took her to Police Station, Bazarichera with the help of the staffs of PS Bazarichera led by SI Parmananda Saikia in the presence of a female Police.

The girl was minor and she did not have any documents with her and on January 6, she was handed over to the CWC (Child Welfare Committee) Karimganj, by the local police and will be further handed over to the Women Welfare Center Dimapur, the BSF officials said

New Delhi, Jan 8 (UNI) In order to protect the Delhiites from both the new and old variants of Novel Coronavirus, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday announced that the travellers coming from the UK to national capital, will have to undergo a mandatory seven-day institutional quarantine, even if they test negative for COVID-19.
