Shares of VPC Impact Acquisition Holdings (VIH) are currently gaining nearly 50% as the blank-check company is reportedly in talks to merge with Intercontinental Exchange Inc (ICE)-owned cryptocurrency exchange Bakkt.

VIH is currently trading at $15.39, up $4.98 or 47.84%, on the Nasdaq.

According to Bloomberg, the merger between the two companies will value the combined company at over $2 billion. An announcement is expected as early as next week, the report says.
