Busisiwe Modisakeng has died.

The executive mayor of the Sedibeng District Municipality, Busisiwe Modisakeng, died on Friday morning after a short illness.
In a statement, Gauteng Human Settlements, Urban Planning and Cogta MEC Lebogang Maile announced Modisakeng's death.
Modisakeng became the Sedibeng mayor in 2016.
According to the Sedibeng municipality's website, the mayor was born on 30 October 1966.
