On the issue of changing the name of Aurangabad in Maharashtra to Sambhajinagar, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said on Thursday that the Shiv Sena-Congress leaders would sort out the matter together. Their effort will be that the Mahavikas remains a disaster and the opposition cannot take advantage of it.

Pawar said that efforts are being made to create differences in the Mahavikas Aghadi government on the issue of Aurangabad. He said that the Mahavikas will also find out who is trying to increase the tension in Aghadi.

Please tell that the late Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray demanded that the city be renamed Sambhaji Nagar in the year 1988. The politics of name change has started since then. As the elections to the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation are going to be held, the Shiv Sena has re-floated the issue.
