Xur is back in the Destiny 2 solar system as we get close to the end of the Season of the Hunt, bearing new Exotic gifts for Guardians. That's handy, since this week saw the return of the Iron Banner, as well as the launch of the Season of the Hunt's High Celebrant mission. Head to The EDZ, to the Winding Cove area, to find Xur this week. For his weapon, Xur is offering Telesto. Hunters can pick up the Sealed Ahamkara Grasps gauntlets; for Titans, there's the Antaeus Wards leg armor; and for Warlocks, Xur has the Getaway Artist gauntlets.

Xur Location

Head to the Winding Cove transmat zone and spawn in, then jump on your sparrow and head north. Make your way to the northern edge of the area and either climb the rock wall there or find a cave pathway on the left side, near the curving highway road. You'll find Xur above, standing beside a crashed Fallen dropship.

Xur Exotic Items

Xur's weapon for this week is Telesto, a longtime mainstay in a lot of Guardians' arsenals. It's a fusion rifle that fires sticky explosive energy, which means that even if you miss your shot, Telesto can still be deadly. If you're not a fan of his other options, Xur also sells an Exotic engram that will decrypt into an Exotic you don't already own. He also has the new Xenology Quest, which rewards an Exotic Cipher you can use to purchase Exotics from either Xur or the Tower's Monument to Lost Lights. The quest requires you to either complete Strikes or win matches in Gambit and the Crucible.

Destiny 2 News And Guides

Telesto (Fusion Rifle)

Telesto has been around for a long, long time in Destiny 2, and it still receives a lot of favor from players. The fusion rifle fires a burst of Void energy as normal, but instead of that energy just dissipating when it hits something, it sticks to surfaces--including enemies--and then explodes a few seconds later. That means Telesto can earn you damage or kills on your opponents even when you miss, and one shot can hurt multiple enemies. There's a reason you see Telesto in the Crucible even today: It's a powerful, effective fusion rifle that's useful in a variety of situations.

Sealed Ahamkara Grasps (Hunter)

Hunters already have some good options for quickly reloading their guns in the heat of battle. Sealed Ahamkara Grasps offer you another way to get more bullets into your enemies. Every time you land melee damage with the Exotic equipped, your currently equipped weapon is reloaded. You can use that in a lot of situations, but the one that comes to mind immediately is running around with a shotgun in the Crucible, punching and blasting your way through enemies. The stats on the Exotic Xur is offering are pretty solid, too.

Stats:

Antaeus Wards (Titan)

Sliding gets you a lot of benefits in Destiny 2, especially in the Crucible--with weapon perks, it makes your guns more effective, while making you tougher to shoot. You're even more difficult to kill while sliding when you're wearing Antaeus Wards. The Titan Exotic improves your slides, and if you sprint before going down, you'll even reflect incoming projectiles.

Stats:

Getaway Artist (Warlock)

Sometimes, a little backup can save your life. That's the idea behind Getaway Artist, which allows Warlocks to convert their Arc grenades into supercharged Arc Souls--which are floating balls of electricity that shoot Arc energy at your enemies. It's like having a second gunner with you, and the extra damage can be devastating for opponents in Crucible fights or in PvE.
