Telangana CM to decide action plan for Covid-19 vaccine, reopening of classes in collectors conference on January 11

HYDERABAD: Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao will hold a meeting with all the ministers and district collectors on Monday to discuss important issues such as finalizing action plan for distribution and administration of Coronavirus vaccine to the people, reopening of classes in the educational institutions, setting up of tribunals to solve revenue-related problems among other issues.
The collectors conference will be held at Pragati Bhavan, the camp office-cum-residence of the chief minister. All the ministers, district collectors and other senior officials have been told to come prepared with details.
The meeting is expected to take decisions on important issues connected with the departments of medical and health, education, revenue, municipal administration and urban development, panchayat raj, and forest department among others.
The meeting will discuss the spread of Covid-19 and measures taken to contain it. An action plan will be finalised at the meeting on distributing the vaccine to all the regions and administering it to the people on a prioritized-method.
The meeting is likely to take a decision on the date of reopening of the classes in the educational institutions in the State. How to manage the classes and which of the classes (standards) should be opened first for the students to attend, what is the method being followed in other states and and other related issues would be discussed threadbare and a decision will be taken.
The CM has instructed the district collectors to come to the meeting with complete information and data.
As far as revenue department matters are concerned, the chief minister held a meeting recently at Pragathi Bhavan with senior officials and some of the district collectors. In the meeting, some of the issues that are to be resolved were discussed.
In the meeting on Monday, these revenue matters would be discussed at length. Pending mutations, Sada Bainamas regularization, setting up of the tribunals, solving the matters included under Part B and other related issues would be discussed. The meeting will finalise the action plan to solve all the revenue issues speedily.
The chief minister will also review the implementation of Palle and Pattana Pragathi programmes respectively. Whether the funds are being released on time and the status of their utilisation and other such issues would be discussed.
A review will also be held on the progress of works under Palle and Pattana Pragathi programmes. The implementation of the Haritha Haram and status of green cover in the State will also be reviewed. Discussion will also take place on the measures taken to increase the green cover in the villages and urban areas and the programmes to be taken up in future.
