The number of active caseload related to COVID-19 has dropped down to 54 in Tripura. The recovery rate presently stands at 98.67 per cent. In the past 24 hours, eight new cases were reported along with the recovery of nine infected people. Also, a patient died of the virus yesterday taking the death toll to 385.
According to the State Health Bulletin, 32,829 patients have recovered from the infection, out of the total 33,294 positive cases recorded so far.
The health bulletin also stated that over 5.86 lakh samples have been tested till last evening.
