Villages added to MCG area will be divided in 4 zones

GURUGRAM: The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has further divided its sectors and villages, which have been recently added to its limits, into four zones for better governance, an official said. The civic body’s zone-3 will have sectors 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 63A, 64, 65, 66, 67A and revenue estates of village Behrampur, Ullawas, Nangali Umarpur and Maidawas. Moreover, sectors 99, 102, 102A, 103 and revenue estates of village Dhankot, Mohammadheri, Kherki Majra, Daultabad will fall under zone-1.
While, sectors 106, 107, 108, 109, 112, 113, 114, 115 and revenue estate of village Bajghera, Babupur and Dharampur will be in zone-2, sectors 70, 70A and revenue estates of village Palra, Bhondsi, Palra Dhani, Dhumaspur and Kadarpur will be under zone-4. MCG commissioner Vinay Pratap Singh has assigned duties to engineers for the extended areas of the civic body. The commissioner also appointed a new superintendent engineer (SE) to handle the projects.
“Ramesh Kumar Sharma, SE, will also prepare detailed project reports (DPRs) of the areas that have recently been brought under the MCG limits,” said an MCG official.
